Our Second Act, Inc. will provide scholarships for women over the age of 50 to encourage them to improve, revitalize, enrich or extend the “second act”
of their lives. The scholarships with a maximum value of $500 will be awarded based on the determination of need, impact on improving the life of the women
who apply, and reviewed by the scholarship committee.
Qualifications:
1. The applicant must be a senior woman 50 years or older
2. Applicant must complete an application for the scholarship.
3. The applicant must submit reliable written information about the class workshop or seminar.
4. The applicant may be a person enrolled in college class who needs assistance.
5. The applicant must have a recommendation from a senior center, organization, or facility or two recommendations from people familiar with the applicant.
6. All information must be completed and submitted to the scholarship committee a minimum of 60 days prior to the proposed class, seminar or workshop.
